ICT admin gears up for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with citywide celebrations


ISLAMABAD, Sep 12 (APP): The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has planned to celebrate the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with the
series to programmes and decorations in a befitting manner in the Federal Capital.

In this regard, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon has chaired a key meeting and discussed plans for the upcoming Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). They also discussed city security, cleanliness arrangements and
public participation in the different rallies and seminars.

The meeting was attended by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and the members of District Peace Committee.

The officials focused on ensuring the city is well-prepared for the celebrations. Security measures and overall readiness were key points of discussion, with the DC stressing the importance of maintaining order throughout the city.

In line with the events, the DC announced that the city would be illuminated with lights to mark the occasion. He also invited religious scholars from all communities to take part in the celebrations. According to the DC, this inclusive
approach aims to foster unity and peace.

The authorities assured that all arrangements, including cleanliness and security on the procession routes, would be completed before the event. The DC also confirmed that security would be provided at all gatherings across the city to ensure a safe environment for everyone attending.

On the occasion, the DC called for full cooperation from all the department concerned to make the event a success while ensuring the safety of citizens.
